Thanks for writing in. This looks like our 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with our Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Springs. If you had more than one coil spring per side, the Series 171 stacks on top of the Series 170. The stamp '408' indicates that is likely a S170-408, which a coil spring calibrated for 8 lbs of support. However, if only your pivot shoe is damaged, you indeed shouldn't have an issue reusing the old springs.

I have a broken Simonton Double Hung Window balance shoe. Please refer to the four attached pictures.
The dimensions appear to be:
1.25" across
9/16" deep
1.5" tall
2.5" tall with spring
Single Coil Spring 3/4" wide with stamp 4085 or 408S

Can I re-use the spring and just purchase the shoe?
Which model shoe is an appropriate fit?
