So it seems that I have a bunch of broken balances for my windows. The housing and coil are for the most part intact, but the plastic holder and metal toggle part that the window sash clips into is broken. I think if I can just get the bottom plastic part it should be ok, I have all the metal round clip parts. If I need to replace the entire balance, thats fine, I think I'd have to cut it apart to get it out, though.

Thanks for posting! The plastic holder appears to be what's called a pivot shoe. Yours in particular resembles our 15-192. Look it over and see what you think.
This is a Simonton window, so there is one thing to note: the center metal cam on your pivot shoe may be a bit different than ours. Don't throw yours out, since you may need to swap the metal cams between them.

Thanks! I actually read several other posts on your board and saw something similiar so I ordered a couple of the shoes to try. I need about 10, so I'll start with a couple, see if they fit and then replace the rest of they do.
