This pivot post broke on an old simonton window I bought through home depot.
I don't see one that looks like it.
Can I use the new simonton post. If so, will I need another part to go with it.

Your part seems to be broken, but I think I can still make out what you have. Please have a look at our 26-336 pivot bar. Our 26-336 is the best match in our inventory. You have an old Simonton brand pivot bar that has been discontinued for a long time. That said, the 26-336 should work well as a substitute.
