Simonton window pivot bar

This is a weird one. I can't understand why Simonton would switch from a metal pivot bar to a nylon bar. The pivot bar takes a lot of pressure while holding up the weight of the sash. I don't know if we can replace this, but we will certainly try. If possible, please show us show us a picture of this showing the other side. I would also like dimensions, if possible. I'd need to know the width and length, as well as the distance between the tip to the center of the first screw hole.
