Simple project?

Home Owner from Maine
Hello!
One of our casement windows gets stuck every now and then and tonight I found out I am stronger than I thought when I broke the handle off. Would I be able to just get a new handle or would it be a new operator?
Thank you!

Hi Zach,

There is a chance the 39-232 Roto Folding Crank Handle may work for your repairs. You'll need to first determine if the piece still attached to the operator base can be removed.

That being said, if the window is getting stuck, that may indicate an issue with the operator itself. If so, replacing the handle may only be a temporary solution.

I'm happy to recommend a replacement for the operator but I'll need to see a photo of the arm(s) and how the operator connects to the bottom of the window sash to identify the right replacement.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thanks for the additional photos. Your window operator can be replaced with the 39-325 X-Drive Split Arm ROTO Operator. It appears to be used with the 39-577 ROTO Face Mount Sash Bracket.

The opposite handed versions of the operator and bracket are the 39-326 operator and 39-578 sash bracket.

Both operators are compatible with the 39-232 Roto Folding Crank Handle.
