Hi, I need to replace the left side window balance assembly of a Simonton double hung window It is about six inches long. The photo shows the unbroken right side.

We believe you're describing a 15-206 nylon coil spring cover which holds four 3/8" wide coil springs. The 3/8" springs in question will be our Series 165 and they come in different weight sizes. See our video on this series balance for more detail.
