Hi There, The metal portion of the balance is 27" long and 1/2" wide. The top is 15/16" wide and 3/4" deep and the bottom shoe is 15/16" wide and 15/16" deep. The sash weighs 23 lb. It looks like I should order a series 380 but I am not sure. The window is really hard to close and I think it is because the vinyl pulley wheel has worn through and doesn't turn freely. Thanks for your help.

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 380 or our Series 385 balances.
Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 380 uses the 15-005 while the Series 385 uses the 15-004. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

You guys are great! The parts I ordered were perfect and my window works better than when it was new. I have just ordered 8 more balances to change out the old ones in my other windows. I especially appreciate the video you posted showing how to replace the balances. I was definitely doing it the hard way before and after watching the short video I feel like a pro.
Thanks again!
