Single Hung Window Balance ID & Purchase

Hi - seeking help to ID and purchase a balance assembly for a single hung (non-tilting) window.

Markings on each part:
balance: 26-4 GH5 CMC
fitting a: 15P 142 4
fitting b: 15P102 11

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Is your top fitting winged like the 19-005? If it is, I recommend either the S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom fitting so you will have to measure as shown below. I also recommend the 2640 strength option.

Yes my top balance is winged though it looks slightly different from 19-005 (attached photo). Do you think it's a match for my purpose?

My bottom fitting is just over an inch (photo attached) which matches model S385.

Your old top fitting does look a little different than ours but I'm thinking it may be an older version. If the specifications of the Series 385 match up then you should be good to go! You can place an order directly on our website at your convenience.
