Single hung balancer

Question

Hello, I am trying to locate balancers for an aluminum single hung, it has a metal cylinder spiral balancer and a plastic piece the sash pivots in that has broken. The windows are approximately 3'x4' Please advise!

Hello there. It looks like you have spiral balances for a tilt window. See the videos listed on this page. if you can remove the spiral balance and tell us the length and diameter of that outer tube, we should be able to narrow it down for you. The pivot shoe it attaches to might have been the 15-045, but you'll need to compare to an undamaged one, especially the width and thickness, to confirm.
