Single hung window. Right side. Looks like a piece of the metal broke off. Would like to replace both right and left

Hello,

The housing shown in your photos resembles the 15-102. The coil springs would be the Series 145, which comes in various weight options. There should be a code stamped on your coils that corresponds to our strength options. Thanks for posting!

I have been looking for the coil weight but cannot find it. Where is it usually? Do I have to remove the coil and extend it out and look for it?

The stamp is normally on the end of the coil but since yours appears to be broken, it may be missing. If that is the case, you'll need to weigh the window sash and divide it by the number of coils used on each side, which would be four in your case.
