Hello!

I have a sash that would not stay open and discovered the shoe on the right hand side cracked into 3 pieces. I can see a number "8" carved into the spring just over the screw from the side view. What parts would you recommend?

Hi Wellesley,

Your shoe can be replaced with the 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe, which is compatible with the Series 190 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe with the 33-073 screw. Since your spring is stamped with an 8, you'll need the S190-840.

To replace the balance clip, you'll need the 15-186 Coil Balance Clip, which is used along with the 15-182 Balance Bushing.
