Single roller assembly

Question

I am looking for a replacement roller and assembly for my A-S 7873 1-1/2" roller with single screw mount on the end. The housing width is 1/2" and height is 1-5/16" and length is 2-1/4"

The part in your picture is actually only the inside portion of a complete roller assembly. There should be an outer housing, perhaps still installed in the door. Since this is Allen Stevens, though, and since you have a 1-1/2" wheel, you could consider our 81-278 patio door roller. You may want to remove your outer housing just to confirm that this could work for you.

To remove and install the new roller, you will need to remove the sliding door and the bottom door rail. Unscrew the two bottom frame screws (1/4-20 machine thread) and use a block of wood and hammer to carefully remove the bottom door rail. You will see on the inside channel where the glass was that there is another screw (10-32 machine thread) that holds the top of the roller housing to the door.
