Slider Lock

Question

I am sending this to see if this part can be replaced on a wood sliding door. The only markings on it is "DN" The person that is requesting this info is a contractor. I am just sending the picture and request for information.

I am not certain whether you are able to use our 82-226 mortise lock with the 4-5/8" mounting holes of our 82-227 with 5-3/8" mounting holes. Let us know which of the two would be the better replacement. There is also the option of reusing your existing,mounting plate and install our 82-218 into it.
