Slider door lock

Question

The door handle will not move, and lock the double mortise locks. The problem appears to be in the lock device I need the correct mortise lock to replace

Thanks for posting. Try removing the handle set from the door and then throwing the lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, then you are correct: the mortise lock is broken and must be replaced. I believe you have our 82-238. This looks similar and interfaces with the handle set you have (either the 82-080 or keyed 82-081). But review the dimensions below to confirm.
