Slider needs operable handle/lock

Home Owner from Grand Rapids Michigan
Bought a home with a no-name sliding glass door that happens to be missing the handle and locking mechanism. I have looked elsewhere to find a handle that matches the 3 hole configuration with zero luck. The holes are spaced on-center 3 1/4th inch apart. Any clues or product suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Luke

Thanks for posting, Luke. I have a few questions. Can you confirm the distance between the center of the top and bottom installation holes? And could you show us a picture of where the mortise lock should be inside the door? This would help us narrow down the possibilities. Thank you.

The top and bottom hole are accurately 6 + 9/16ths inch apart. It looks like this door is ill equipped for a mortise lock and initially operated with only the interior keeper from what I can tell (see photos). Maybe a loop lock would do the trick once I narrow down this handle business...

Personally speaking, I'm inclined to recommend our 82-036. This is a surface mounted type lock which matches your mounting hole locations. Since it's surface mounted, it doesn't rely on any internal locking mechanism in the door and uses its own keeper.
