Slider window part

This is the part that mounts in the channel top right hand side of the slider portion. It is mounted with a screw and engages the balance when reinstalling the window. Without this the balance stays in the upper position

Hello,

The part shown in your photo is a top sash guide, which holds the support balances in place below the sash. Yours resembles the 18-171 shown below. the determining factor would be how the dimensions compare to your part. Thanks for posting!
