Replacement Sliding Door Handle

Home Owner from Midland City, Alabama

Good morning,

We are needing a replacement handle and the door latch for our sliding door. We need this to be a locking handle.

Thank You,

Johnny

Hey Johnny. At first glance, it looks like your door might use a handle set with 3-15/16" hole spacing like our 82-030. But the mortise lock strictly depends on what the cavity in the door is shaped to hold. Is there any existing mortise lock in the door, or a hole for a lock? From the picture it looks like the panel of the door that would hold a lock is missing entirely--if that's so, I'm afraid it's going to be very difficult to tell you what could work for your door, and nothing is going to work without some modification. For instance, your door might use our 82-218; but the 82-226 and 82-227 are versions of this lock with different face plates. It depends on what your door was designed to use. If you could show us a view of where the mortise lock is supposed to be, it will at least help us narrow down your options.

Great, thanks for verifying. Have you looked over the 82-218 that I mentioned? If you haven't already, that should be your next step. This appears to be our best match, but you will have to review our data to verify. We also have a video that shows how it installs that you may find helpful. I'll share that below, along with the specs for the 82-218.
