Sliding Door Latch

A quick learner says:
Hello

I have an anderson sliding door that is over 20 years old. The latch that closes the door is broken. I do not have any part number or markings on the part to provide. I'm hoping you can help identify the part so i can replace the latch.

NOTE: the exterior has a key entry. will the replacement part fit the key part?

Thanks

Vin

Hey Vin. See our 82-043 Andersen Thumb Latch. Note that such damage to a thumb latch might be indicative of an internal lock that needs to be replaced. If so, see if the 82-037 matches your old lockset.
