Sliding Door Lock

Home Owner from Palmyra, PA
The pin on the jamb side has broken off and no longer allows the door to lock. There is a button on the door side that must be depressed by the pin to operate the latch mechanism.

I know of the pin you're talking about. The bad news is that you have an older model mortise that Andersen no longer makes. They have since updated the design so that the pin in question is on the mortise, not the keeper.

The modern version is our 82-037. This will still work, but it does mean you need to replace both the mortise and keeper at the same time.
