Sliding Door Lock

We have moved into a Seniors Apt. and the sliding door outside has a lock by hand on the inside. It appears there is a slot for the insertion of a lock from the front outside. The mechanism inside looks like it turns the lock open by an inserted triangle part. Can we get a lock from youÉ
