Sliding Door Mortise Lock Replacement

Quick Learner from Rochester
The latch broke off of my door handle and I am not sure the manufacturer or exactly what piece to order. This door is approximately 2 years old. I'm not sure if I just need a new Multi-Point Mortise Latch Lever or if I need to replace the entire locking mechanism. It is a square hole that the latch lever fits into. It is located approximately halfway between the 2 screws that hold the actual locking mechanism into the door handle.

Hello,

Your mortise lock resembles the 82-238. This lock is used with the 82-080 handle set. Our handles are a different style but they could still work ass long as the 4-15/16" hole spacing matches yours. Review the specifications below and see what you think. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for the thorough reply. I took all the measurements for the door and it seems like all of the the 82-238 and 82-080 measurements are the same with my current lock and handle, including the 4-15/16" distance. Does this mean I can just order a new handle (82-080) which will come with a new latch and insert that into my current mortise lock (since mine is the same dimensions as the 82-238)?

If all of the specifications match and the handle set is the only damaged part, you should be able to use the 82-080 for your repair.
