Sliding Door Part Replacement Question

Quick Learner
I broke the lock lever. The hole centers are 3 15/16 inch and the door thickness is 2" where the slide handles attach. Please recommend replacement so I can order. Thanks

Your handle looked pretty familiar at first glance, but that mortise lock of yours is a red flag. I am familiar with this design and it's not something that we supply. To my knowledge, none of our handles are compatible with it to begin with.

Before I say anything for sure, I'd like you to remove the mortise and show me the hole where the thumb lever inserts. That will tell me for sure whether we sell a handle set that's compatible with it.

Tom, please see attached photos you requested. Thanks so much!

Thank you! These photos are a huge help. Looking at that slot in your mortise, I do think one of our more standard 3-15/16" handle sets can work for you. Namely our 82-030, which is a very versatile set that works on a huge variety of doors.

The thumb lever on the 82-030 has a flat tail that rests at a 45 degree angle, same as your original. While your mortise is still a very different design compared to what I normally see used with this type of handle, it appears that the differences stop at how it locks. The way it interacts with the handle appears to be the same, which is a lucky break.

With that in mind, our 82-030 is my top recommendation. Look it over and see what you think!
