Hello. My sliding screen door has a rail on the bottom of the door that slides in a track on the threshold. Someone walked into the screen and broke this rail. The manufacturer (thermal industries) is no longer in business so I am looking to see if any 3rd part makes this piece. Can you hope? See photos. Thanks!
I am not sure what it is called, but it acts as a "rail" on the bottom of the slider. There is a groove on the bottom of the door casing that this rail slides back and forth through as the door is opened/closed. The slider is also attached to another rail on the top which actually holds the weight of the slider, so this bottom "rail" just seems to make sure the bottom side of the slider stays in place and doesn't push in/out if that makes sense. I could send more pictures if that would help, just let me know. Thanks!

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we don't sell the part you're searching for. This resembles a type of weatherstripping but we don't sell anything like it, unfortunately. Your best bet may be an older mom and pop type hardware shop who might be familiar with something like this. I sincerely apologize that we can't be of help with this repair; please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
