Sliding Door Top Guide

Question

I'm looking for a slightly longer replacement for the sliding door top guide pictured; the one I have was cut down at some point by someone (not me), and is a little too short to meet the track, which means the door rattles against metal as it is being closed. The guide is 1 1/16" long, 9/16" wide, and 1/4" thick at its thickest section. There's no manufacturer's information on the sliding door, but it is original to an apartment building that was constructed in 1960, if that helps at all. No markings anywhere on the guide, either. Thank you in advance for any guidance you might be able to provide.

Unfortunately, we do not carry an exact replacement for your door guide but it does remind me of our 86-026 and the other patio door guides shown at the bottom of our inventory page here.

Though we can't guarantee that one of them will work, take a look and see if you think you could modify one of our parts to work for you. Thanks for posting and good luck with your repair.
