Sliding Glass Door Handle

Need a replacement handle for this sliding glass door. The latch mechanism has been janky for a awhile but the handle itself is now officially broken.

Take a look and compare the specifications of the 82-030 handle set with 3-15/16" installation holes to yours. Thanks for posting.

This looks like it will work! Is the 3-15/16 a relatively common offset?

Also - would you recommend that I need a mortise with this as well?

Yes, 3-15/16" is common hole spacing for these patio door handles but you'll still need to make sure that the measurement matches yours.

As for the mortise, you only need to replace it if it is broken. If you believe you need a new one, please open the door and show us the original to compare to our inventory.

I think the action on the mortise may be messed up a little too. Are you seeing a specific mortise that works with the 3-15/16 handle? I may want to order that as well to be safe and avoid having to order at a later time and await mail time.

The 82-030 handle set is compatible with about a dozen different mortise locks. I'd be happy to make a recommendation for you, but I need to see the original in order to narrow down the list of possibilities.

Hello sorry for the delay. Here is a pic of the mortise. Seems to be operable but for the price I may as soon have a backup.

Thanks for getting back to us. Your mortise lock resembles our 82-218 but make sure to review the dimensions shown on our product page to ensure that they match up to yours.

Thanks Casey - this seems like a fit - I didn't grab a tape to confirm 11/16" - but it's close based on my finger length! Lol. Is there a 3.5" mortise? If not I'll give this one a whirl

Our 82-218 would be our closest match for your lock. If the specifications match up you should be good to go!
