Sliding Glass Patio Door Handle

Handy Person from San Diego, CA
Hello,
Looking for this patio door handle. Could not find any marking, numbers, or names. The handle thumb turn shown in the photo is not the original. One shown in the photo is to lock the door. Original has broken out and is missing.
Thanks, Tim

We don't sell this exact handle set, but we may still be able to help. Before I recommend anything, can you show me a clear photo of where this handle mounts on the door? Please note that I don't want to see the handle installed; quite the contrary, I want to see the door without it, specifically the hole where the thumb lever pokes through the interact with the mortise. Please let me know if that would be possible.

I do not have a photo of that. The thumb lever pokes through the door above the top screw of the handle. Normally we see these with the thumb lever at the center of the handle, but first time for me to see it at the top. The vinyl patio sliding doors are definitely on the mid to low end range of quality. I will see about getting a photo and sending it over. Thanks

Thanks for clarifying. That's more or less what I was trying to deduce. The only handle set we sell with a top-oriented thumb lever is our 82-093, but this is a somewhat heavy-duty set that isn't ordinarily used on this kind of door. I'm not sure how compatible it would be.

You may want to consider something like our 82-030, which has a center-mounted thumb lever. This might be easier in the long run (and less expensive), even if it would require drilling new holes.
