Sliding Glass Patio Door Handle Replacement

Question

I need to replace my sliding glass patio door handle. I believe I need a Mortise Lock and Keeper - keyed, but I am unsure what the difference between an "A position" lock and a "B position" lock. Could you please tell me what part I need to order.

Hello,

Your hardware appears to match our 82-087 handle set and 82-226 mortise lock. For a keeper, compare yours to our 89-020 and 89-021D to see which would be the best fit in your door jamb. I'm not sure what you mean by position A and B but It looks like this hardware should work for you. Thank you.
