Sliding Metal Window Leaking Water

Question

Have a sliding metal window in my bedroom. It leaks water during winter thru the screen, it is also accumulating humidity in the non-sliding part. I have covered it with plastic and the water stopped entering. I want to repair this. Please provide advise.

Thank you for posting. If your glass is fogged up, then you will need to take it to a glass shop for them to replace the glass entirely. There's no fixing that, I'm afraid.

As for the moisture leaking in, it could be the weatherstripping. Do you have any old weatherstripping still installed? If so, we'll need you to remove a sample and show us a clear picture of its end profile. Without seeing the old weatherstripping, I don't think it will be possible for us to know what you need.
