Sliding Patio weather stripping

Quick Learner from Montana

I don't know the brand of the sliding door, sorry. This weather stripping is 1/2 inch wide and snaps into the wood door frame. It did have a mohair strip in the slot, as you can see in the pictures.

Hope you guys have something like this.

Thank you,

Scott

Thanks for reaching out to us, Scott. I'm not sure if we'll be able to help with this. Could you remove an undamaged sample and show us a clear shot of the end profile?

I'll pull the old piece off and send you better pictures.

Thank you!

Here are better pictures of the weatherstripping. I have also attached a photo of the 2 slots on the wood door frame that the stripping snaps into, the slots are 1/2 inch apart.

Thank you!

Thank you very much! We don't sell a replacement for the part shown here, unfortunately. The only thing we might be able to help with is the pile weatherstripping, depending on the dimensions. If you're interested in that, let me know the base width and pile height. I can see if we have a suitable match from there.

Otherwise, your best bet may be to contact a local mom-and-pop-type hardware shop. I can't make any promises but they might be familiar with weatherstripping used on sliding doors in the area.

If I could just figure out what brand the door was, that would help a lot?

I'm sorry to say that we don't know who manufactured your door. I can't make any promises but you could check with a local mom and pop type hardware shop to see if they're familiar with this weatherstripping.
