Sliding Screen Door Rollers

I have a screen door 36x93 with 2 rollers on the bottom corners and 2 on the top corners. I live in IL and no surprise that the bottom ones in particular are not rolling like they should. I picked up a set from ACE that are Prime-Line B 702 but know they too will rust and the screws for mounting look smaller that the existing ones. Wondering if you have thought on SS 84-074B or 84-074 as replacements. Have included pics. RonĀ

Hello,

If you're concerned about rust, I agree that the stainless steel 84-074B would be a good place to start. The determining factor would be how the dimensions below compare to your assembly. Thanks for posting!

appreciate your response but I have a concern with how it attaches. I sent a picture that shows the screws into the roller are from the inside of the frame and not from the bottom. I looked at a screen roller carried by ACE hardware but the install shows the screws coming from the outside (bottom or top) ---screwed from underneath outside of the frame not from the inside.
Please review pic of screen frame and where the screws go down through the frame.
If your suggestion does that then I'll place the order.

The 84-074 and 84-074B are installed as shown in your photos. I have always seen them installed this way in the past, so you should be good to go as long as the specifications match your original roller.
