Sliding Window rollers Aluminum Window

Landlord from Los Angeles

Hello,

I have older aluminum windows, 1960's vintage. I don't know the manufacturer.=. They are installed at an apartment building. I am looking for replacement rollers. Unfortunately, the only one I have is in pieces. I have attached photos with dimensions for your consideration. Please let me know if you have anything that would fit to replace these parts. If I can find the right parts I would be interested in about 75 sets.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Paul

HI, I wanted to add some additional information and photos. I was able to find one ofthe roller assemblies intact. I have a few photos of that unit for your examination. Also, I am looking for some of the window lock mechanisms for these same windows. I added a few photos of the existing original ones. Finally, I took a few photos of the aluminum frame for the window where the rollers are slid in. Disregard the roller assembly that is tucked in the rail, and the wood shims that hold that assembly in place. This is a temporary fix done with some window rollers I located, but they don't exactly fit, as you can see.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional information you need. I look forward to your positive response.

Kind Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, we do not have a replacement recommendation we can offer for the parts you have pictured here. Given the age of the windows and parts, we aren't able to find a functional alternative.

Sorry we can't be of more help!

Let me know if there is anything else I might be able to assist with.

Thank you for your quick response. I'm disappointed to hear that that you can't help me with this. What about the possibility of just having the wheel for me? I think I could drill the window frame and put in a pin to act as an axle if I had the grooved wheel? Would you have anything like that, just the wheel? This one is 5/8" diameter x 3/16" thick. If you had something with a bushing or bearing, that would help, then I could use a spring pin as an axle.
Thanks, Paul

Unfortunately, we do not have any wheel replacements that fit your specifications.

The closest match is part 87-089 although, I strongly believe it would not fit your application.

Sorry we can't be of more help!

Let me know if you have any questions.
