I am looking for the white plastic part that gets clipped into the track.

That could be a lot of different parts. Before I recommend anything, can you tell me if its attached directly to the door, or if its couched in some kind of housing? If it is in a housing, I'd like you to remove the whole assembly from the door so that we can get a better look at it.
