Question

Does this lock set fit a door with a thickness of 1.5 inches?   This means that the lock hook must be .75 inches from the inside face to properly meet the keeper.  Thank you.

The 82-002 flush patio door handle is designed for 1" thick aluminum patio doors. 1-1/2" may be too thick for this one. You could have one of the old Thermal Break patio doors, which are no longer made. Most patio doors today are made of either vinyl or wood.

In some cases you can use parts from your old handle set and incorporate them with the new hardware to get it to work for the thicker door. That may be your only option. Sorry we can't offer anything easier!
