Sliding door bottom roller or guide

I have a 20 year old Stanley mirrored bi-fold door and the bottom does not close smoothly. My questions is should the bottom track have a roller or a pin guide? It currently has a pin but I'm wondering if the bottom would work better with a roller?

Hello! I would need to see your track and the guide you are currently using to determine if you can use a roller. Can you send a clear photo of the track, as well as a photo of the guide?
