The mechanism inside the door is not working
The only thing I found inside the door handle was D O 42

Thanks for posting. This looks like it might be the 82-078 Handle Set. Please compare. I am afraid the mortise lock that works with this handle set was discontinued and is no longer made. I apologize for any inconvenience. Let me know if you have further questions.
