Sliding door handle has broken

Home Owner from Miami, FL
I have hurricane grade sliding glass doors with a dark brown color handle set. Recently the handle on the interior portion but on the opposite side of the locking one cracked and broke. I would like to find a replacement one. On the opposite or exterior side of the door there is no handle at all. See pictures to illustrate. Let me know what are my options thanks.

Hello! We do sell this handle set, which looks like a match for our 82-080. The bad news is that it is no longer available in black. We've tried very hard to get this color option but it's just not something they make anymore. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Concerning the damage your old hardware suffered, this is usually due to either faulty rollers or a damaged/clogged track. I highly recommend cleaning and lubricating your rollers and tracks to  make sure they're functioning properly. Also check for damage in case they need replacement.

Replacing rollers can be a bit of a hassle, so keep that in mind in the future. I would definitely lubricate the track at the very least to see if that helps.

Thanks Tom the handle color is actually a dark brown. Not sure if you have that color in stock. If not is there an option for a different set or handle?

We can only supply this handle in white or beige. Due to the unique design of this handle, there is also no substitute that I would feel confident recommending. This handle set is particular in that it uses those four screws that come in from the sides to secure it to the base. It also has a notable thicker thumb lever stem that differs from everything else in our inventory, which all have flat stems.

I'm very sorry that we don't have an alternative option.
