I need to purchase a Hevy duty key lock for sliding door for a American craftsman door.

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'heavy duty', as no patio door key lock is heavier duty than another. Either way, we believe you can use our 82-044 outside handle, along with the 82-315 Key Lock & Housing. See the video below for details. If you do want just extra security in general, something like our 80-006 Sliding Door Security Bar might do the trick for you.
