Sliding door latch

Handy Person from Alameda, CA
Hi,

This is the latch to the very old sliding glass patio door we have. It is .48" wide, 1.11" deep, 3.18" tall, and 3.66" between screw holes. There's no model or serial, just the W&F MFG stamp. I'm hoping to limp along with these doors a while longer, does a replacement part exist? Thank you!

Hello,

Your lock resembles the 82-218 at first glance but note that this part has a 45-degree keyway as shown below. Yours could be in a different position if it is broken but I wanted to point out the possible difference.

We also offer the 82-223 with a 90-degree keyway but it has a square faceplate compared to the round one shown in your photos. Review the specifications of both options to see if one of them could work for your repair. Thank you!
