Sliding door lock

A quick learner from Niceville, FL says:
The latch on the door does not properly lock. I would like to purchase new parts. There are four of these sliders in the house. The others work, and solidly engage the "lock" or "unlock" position. This one moves the latch assembly, but does not stay there.

I think I would like to buy door side, and jam side hardware to start over, as it looks like previous owner may have messed with this.

Thanks for writing in. Your handle set looks similar to the 82-033. As for your mortise latch take a look at the 82-211 and the 82-214. See if either one would work for you. Let me know what you think.
