The lock works, it is the latch on the jamb. A thin strip of the aluminum jamb runs parallel to the door it had some type of catch attached to it that fit into the door opening. The standard jamb mounted catches art to wide for the opening in the door and cannot be modified to work

We, unfortunately, cannot identify missing hardware but the handle in your photos resembles our 82-002WK which includes a compatible keeper. Look over the specifications for these parts to see how they match up with your old hardware.

I found an example of the keeper I need. It's 3/8 inch and looks like

Thanks for getting back to us with new photos. The keeper you show here appears to match our 89-031. According to my records it has been used in conjunction with the 82-002WK in the past, though I've never personally seen that in action. Either way, look it over and see what you think.
