Please advise which part number I need to replace this lock. This part measures 4" high and 1" wide.

Have you seen our 82-043? The 82-043 in the stone color will replace your broken thumb latch.

I build a new wood siding door for my barn. I was thinking an exterior sliding patio mortise lock might work for my appication, could you recommend a lock set and latch for my door please? My door is currently blank so I can make the lock mortise hole that is needed . Door is 4ft x 8ft x 1.5 inch thick . I would like a dual point latch a key outside and thumb thach inside wiyh door handels. Thank you

I'm not sure I can advise on what type of lock would work on your door. All of our products are designed to replace very specific previously existing parts, and we cannot make recommendations for unique or custom applications. Since this door is custom built and since you are making the hole from scratch, you could theoretically use anything in our inventory. You should review our selection here.
