Sliding door lock for header track Truth Part 45042

Looking for replacement slidibg door lock for header track. Ordered 82-051 and the throw on the post is too short. Post is 1 1/4" when engaged.

I don't believe they make this lock you have here, which has the long post. My recommendation is to pack the keeper up to meet the post, rather than the other way around. I've done that before in a pinch and I find it works just as well.

Thanks. I am unable to pack the keeper. The original install on the the slider door engaged a hole in the top track and adding anything will block the door from opening.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we have no other solution. I don't think this older version is made anymore.
