Sliding door lock set
It's very difficult to know what will work in your door without seeing the original hardware as a reference. We will try our best, but we will need written and precise dimensions as a starting point. A photo of a tape measure will unfortunately not be sufficient. Please respond to this post with all relevant dimensions written down as accurately as you can manage in inches and we will work from there.
Here are the original parts-- its 2 regular sliding door handles without the ability to lock from the outside, which is what i am looking for.
- 5 11/16 inches outer diameter length
- 4 3/4 inches inner diameter length
- 1 inch Width
Sliding door small holes
- 5/16 inches
Your old handle set looks like an older version of our 82-030, though ours has a hole center spacing of 3-15/16". If that dimension is the same then it should work well as a replacement.
Regarding the mortise lock, the closest option we have is our 82-229, but I must emphasize that this is just a guess. Your next step should be to carefully review the dimensions we show for this product to ensure that they align with the space available. I can at least tell you that it is compatible with our 82-030.
do you have a sliding door handle that is compatible that can be locked from the outside?
Sure, we have two. The 82-030A and the 82-030B. They are identical to the 82-030 except that these both come with a key lock, though in different positions; the 82-030A has a centered key lock while the 82-030B has an offset key lock. You need to determine which position you need before you place an order. Based on the hole pattern on your door it appears that you need the offset 82-030B, but that's something you need to verify.
