Sliding door plastic channels

A home owner from Puerto Rico says:

I have sliding glass aluminum patio doors. They are about 20 years old.

The plastic inserts that act as a bearing surface are missing or worn.

The part on the left of the photos is what I need, this is for the door.

I ordered the part on the right of the photo from you, these apparently are for the screen.

The new parts do not fit, the screen aluminum is thinner than the door aluminum.

I need about 20 of these plastic pieces.

These guides appear to be similar to our 86-028 guides. These were used in the Miller brand aluminum patio glass door. I am not sure why they wouldn't fit. It's possible your door could be a commercial type patio door with a thicker gauge metal. If so, we do carry the 86-010 guide used for Crossly patio doors. See if you could use this one as a replacement. If not, you may need to contact the manufacturer of your door directly to get the correct guide needed.
