Thank you for reaching out to us. Our 81-247 is similar to the roller shown here. We recommend you review the specifications to confirm whether they match your repair needs.

Thank You Paul,The size and design of  81-247 does look correct?  How strong and durable is the wheel?  Does the same roller come with a steel roller?  The sliding door is large roughly 60"x84" and heavy for a sliding door.

The wheel is made of nylon, making it more susceptible to wear and tear, especially with heavy doors. Unfortunately, we do not sell the assembly with a steel wheel. If the old wheels are in good shape, you may be able to swap them with the nylon wheels. We offer the 81-310 axle repair kit for this purpose. Take a look along with the video below and see what you think.

Thanks Paul!  The wheel and axle seem to be in good shape.  The issue is the height adjustment doesn't hold up after a few months.  Is it possible there is thread slop between the adjustment screw and the housing?  Any fixes for that?I appreciate your quick response, effort, and help.  Thanks!

The 81-247 patio door roller, which features a nylon ball bearing wheel, is well-made. Its size suggests that it is suitable for either a sliding window or a patio door screen. However, the weight of the patio door can cause issues over time, as you mentioned in the threads about the fasteners not holding. I don't see anything else that can be added to this.
