Sliding glass Patio door roller assembly

Handy Person from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Hello.

My sliding glass door to my patio needs a new roller. The house was built about 1976. I do not know if the roller was ever replaced. I have lived here almost 32 years and have never replaced it to my knowledge.

It appears to be a very thin assembly...1 cm or 3/8 inch wide. I do not know how big the roller should be. My guess is about 1 1/4 inch diameter. It should have a very small diameter pin in the middle but the hole is about 1/4 inch diameter.

I have tried local stores and online but find nothing exactly right. Everything appears to be too big.

Do you know what I need? Thank you for your time!

Hi, Betsy!

This looks like the inner portion of a roller. There should be an outer housing that belongs to it, perhaps still installed in the door. We'd be happy to help identify your rollers, but we'll need to see the complete roller assembly to compare to our inventory. Let me know if that's something you can get for us.

Thank you!
