Sliding glass door handle has broken.

Question

The exterior handle broke where the screws attach.  The only identifier on the entire door is in the locking mechanism...Patent No 5820.170.  I searched the internet and your name came up.

I don't think this exact style handle is made anymore, but I think you can use our 82-030 as a substitute. It has a 3-15/16" hole spacing, center-to-center, so as long as that matches then you should be good to go.
