Sliding glass door lock broken

The key turns around and will not lock. Our locksmith took it apart. The piece that the tail piece goes into is broken . Don?t know what kind of door, there are markings inside days made in new zealand

Take a look at our 82-081 handle set and let me know if this would work well for you as a replacement.

I received the 821-081 door handle for sliding glass door. It?s too short. I am attaching 2 photos with ruler to see if you have any suggestions.

Hm, let me think. What do you mean when you say the part was too short? It could be too short in several different ways: the key cylinder, the latches, the backplate, etc. Which part is too short? We can try to help, depending what the issue is.
