Sliding glass door lock/handle set

Quick Learner from Mississippi
I would like to have a lock on my door that has a key, so I can get inside from the outside when the door is locked. This is an old door with no identifying marks or numbers of any kind. The door is 1 1/16" to 1 1/8" thick (I can't see that well). It looks like the screws attaching the whole thing are very close to 4" apart. Can you help me?

Take a look at our 82-033 and 82-218. I believe this is what you need.

Thank you very much! Thank you for the direction, but is 82-218 a keyed lock? I would like to get in from outside with a key.

Hey Kathy. The mortise lock itself actually doesn't determine if the door is keyed or not; the outside pull does. What I'd consider doing is buying our 82-044 Outside Pull as well as the 82-315 Key Lock & Housing. The video below shows how to adapt these two parts.
