Sliding glass door handle. Sh72-2 and sh-72-1. The locking mechanism no longer works.

Hello there. The mortise lock looks like the 82-226. Please compare. That keeper looks a bit deeper than anything we carry; the 89-021 is the best match we have. Reuse your old one if possible. For the handle set, our closest match is the 82-030A. I apologize it does not come in a chrome finish. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm having the same issue. With the same part numbers. Problem with the keyset above is locking mechanism is not in the middle.

Hello there. if you have the same mortise lock as pictured above, but the handle set has the key lock and thumb lever 'offset' towards one end of the handle set, then you can instead use the 82-030B or the 82-086 or 82-087 Handle Sets. Any of these should work for the setup you describe.
